Whether employing the techniques of traditional documentary photography or capturing the hidden beauty of ordinary objects and everyday situations, Jade infuses her subjects with spontaneity, energy, and authenticity. Born in Northern California and raised in Boston, she received her first camera as a gift from her mother when she was just 10 years old. This developed into Jade’s affinity to document all of her adventures and connect with everyone she encountered along the way. Jade first combined a love for music and travel when she worked photographing a Rolling Stones tour in Europe. She thrived on meeting new people and capturing their candid and emotional images. Like many of her other photographs, images from that trip revealed a softer side of her subjects emphasized by scattered outbursts of joy and introspection. Jade has successfully collaborated with clients such as Target, Converse, Disney and Toyota as well as many record labels. She has shot on location in just about every corner of the globe and continues to seek out places with unique story and character. |
